Dutch rider Lucinda Brand (Lidl-Trek) took part in the first gravel race of her life yesterday - and secured the title in the process. The CycloCross World Champion on her Trek Gravel Bike clearly pulled away from her rivals as early as the second lap - and although the Trek Domane on which she took her victory yesterday is not on buycycle, there are still more than 100 others. Even more surprising than winning the first gravel race, however, was the spectacular final sprint by Belgian rider Daan Soete (Grobbendonk). In the final meters, he narrowly beat Frederik Raßmann (Rose Racing Circle) on a Rose Backroad and rode his Cannondale SuperSixEvo straight to first place on the podium. And there was another first-time winner at the 3Rides Festival yesterday - Jordy Vermeulen (Wilwo Group-TWC) took part in his first ever Gran Fondo. In the tough 120km race, he beat the competition in the last 50km on his Sensa Giulia Supremo. Ride like Jordy
Arianna Pruisscher secured first place in the women's Gran Fondo. The trained speed skater secured a second Dutch victory after narrowly beating Anabelle Trujen to cross the finish line on her Pinarello F7 - a model you can also find on buycycle. Ride like Arianna
