Europe's most versatile cycling event sends eight athletes into the racing action in the 2024 season - as the 3RIDES team
Europe's most diverse cycling event is looking for eight faces. The 3RIDES will enter its third year in 2024, becoming even sportier with two UCI races, six rides and a varied festival program - and with the 3RIDES team, it will also send its own selection to rides and races in the new season. From now until November 30, enthusiastic cyclists can apply to become representatives. In December, the event organizers will select a total of eight riders from all the applications received. "We want to accompany a colorful and, above all, motivated team with our colors through the season for gravel and road," says Björn Müller, Managing Director of the Aachen event.
With the new team, 3RIDES wants to create a figurehead at other races and events. The organizers are explicitly not interested in particularly capable athletes. They can also apply, but hobby riders and recreational gravelers also have a chance. It is particularly interesting to see what motivation the 3RIDES team members will bring with them. In addition, the willingness to appear at selected events at home and abroad in the colors of 3RIDES and to spread the spirit of 3RIDES.
The 3RIDES team will consist of a total of eight people. Four women and four men each are being sought for the gravel and road teams. The team receives jerseys, equipment from event partners and starting places in the UCI Granfondo World Series and the UCI Gravel World Series - both formats for men and women. The team members' sporting activities are also disseminated via the 3RIDES social channels and partner media.
